Dr. Welch is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 7 years of clinical experience. Dr. Welch completed her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University before completing her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Florida State University.

Dr. Welch is a part-time instructor and has served as an undergraduate instructor at Florida State and a graduate instructor in the online MFT program at Syracuse University.

Her clinical experience is diverse, having worked in agency, university, and private group practice settings before establishing DCADR.

In her free time, Dr. Welch is an aspiring home chef, linguaphile, traveler, and board game enthusiast.

Dr. Welch spent most of her childhood in Northern Virginia and Maryland. She is happy to be working back home!
